Hi, I’m Hannah. I live in Beckenham, South East London, England.
Some of the things I’m interested in include:
- random fun and adventures
- democracy and how we could do it better, especially using the technology now available to us
- truth and honesty in public life
- human rights of mothers and babies
- finding beauty in nature and everyday things
By day, I mainly work as a Director of National Maternity Voices where I support the development of Maternity Voices Partnerships – working groups of service users and health professionals working together to coproduce improvements to maternity services.
I’m also a Director of Better Breastfeeding which campaigns for better support for mothers who choose to breastfeed.
This website is where I share anything else I’m working on. I’ve recently decided to see if I can share something of value every day. Sometimes it’s a tweet or an Instagram post. When I’ve got something longer to say though it’s generally on this site. Any views I share here are my own.
One way I like to get exercise into my life is to “walk and talk”. I’ve found that friends and colleagues often find it helpful to talk issues through with me. So if you have an idea or an issue you’d like to talk about, let me know and we can arrange to walk and talk – in person if you can get to Beckenham or by phone if not.
