Lessons from our garden

We’ve recently bought a house with a beautiful but slightly neglected garden. Having never really been much of a gardener, I’m embarking on a steep learning curve. I’m determined to do the garden justice even though I don’t know much right now. In the last few weeks since moving in, I’ve been using Plantnet to identify the plants and listening to anyone who can advise me on what to keep, what to dig up and when to prune.

I’ve been listening to Ali Abdaal recently who has encouraged me to think that what I learn as a beginner may be useful to others too. So I’ve decided to start sharing some of the things I’m learning here on this blog. I’ll add things to this page as my understanding deepens and my knowledge develops.
